Sourdough Pizza Crust Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (80g) of water
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1 cup (125g) of flour
- 1/6 cup (35g) of sourdough
Sourdough Pizza Topping Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
- 5 medium mushrooms sliced
- 1 mozzarella ball (1/2lbs) chopped
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese (emmental)
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp of oregano
How to make Sourdough Pizza Step by Step
- Step 1 – Mix the water with the salt.
- Step 2 – Add the flour and the sourdough starter and mix for 5 minutes with a wooden spoon.
- Step 3 – Cover and leave to rise for 4 hours (or 20h in the fridge and 4h outside of the fridge is better).
- Step 4 – Roll out the dough with your hand on a sheet of parchment paper, dusted with flour.
- Step 5 – Preheat oven to 400F (200C).
- Step 6 – Bake the pizza for 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Step 7 – Spread the ricotta cheese over the dough.
- Step 8 – Add the mushrooms and salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 9 – Add the mozzarella and grated cheese.
- Step 10 – Sprinkle with oregano.
- Step 11 – Bake for 12 minutes.
