Pinwheel Sandwiches

Description

3 of our favorite pinwheel sandwiches! You can easily make these mozzarella pinwheels, sun dried tomato pinwheels and artichoke pinwheels at home.


Ingredients

For the mozzarella pinwheels

  • 1 soft tortilla
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese
  • 1 ball  of mozzarella (sliced)
  • 1 marinated red pepper (sliced)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Optional : honey mustard

For the sun dried tomato pinwheels

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tbsp of Parmesan
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 pinch of salt 
  • 1 pinch of black pepper 
  • 8 sundried tomatoes
  • 1 soft tortilla

For the artichoke pinwheels

  • 1 soft tortilla
  • 5 marinated artichokes (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup of cream cheese
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

For the mozzarella pinwheels

  1. Cover the soft tortilla with cream cheese.
  2. Add the sliced mozzarella.
  3. Add the sliced red peppers.
  4. Add a drizzle of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. If adding honey mustard, now is the time to add a dollop.
  6. Wrap tightly enough to keep everything together, but not so tightly that you break the soft tortilla.

For the sun dried tomato pinwheels

  1. Cover the soft tortilla with cream cheese.
  2. Add basil leaves and Parmesan.
  3. Add sun dried tomatoes.
  4. Top with a drizzle of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Wrap tightly enough to keep everything together, but not so tightly that you break the soft tortilla.

For the artichoke pinwheels

  1. Cover the soft tortilla with cream cheese.
  2. Add the sliced, marinated artichokes.
  3. Top with a drizzle of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Wrap tightly enough to keep everything together, but not so tightly that you break the soft tortilla.
