Peach nectarine mango crumble

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

Peach nectarine mango crumble is where it’s at this month. We are loving this super simple, healthier dessert filled with delicious fruit, a little sweetness and that heavenly crumble. Even kids who don’t like fruit will love it!

We have a shortlist of our favorite “healthier” desserts and this is on it – along with our fave sugar-free chocolate matha popsicles, honey pumpkin madeleines and zucchini cake.

In addition to the previously mentioned fruitiness and how simple it is to throw together this delicious crumble, all the fruit in this recipe really makes it more of a fruity snack than a dessert, right?

To get started, choose your fruit and cut it up into little squares. (Side note : this recipe is awesome for using up fruit that’s a little past its prime and that you want to use before you lose it!) Line your baking dish with the fruit.

The next step is making the delicious crumble that you will put on top of the fruit. We used speculos cookies for this recipe. Speculos are a favorite cookie that you find in a lot of desserts here in France but please feel free to use the cookie of your choice.

To prepare the crumble, just mix the sugar, flour and cookie crumbs together and then add in the butter.

We created this recipe while we were staying with Hugo’s mom in Picardy this Summer and had the joy of preparing it outside in her lovely garden. We also shared it, step-by-step, in our Instagram stories. We are live cooking every Wednesday at 8pm (Paris time) / 2pm EST. We hope you’ll join us! (Don’t worry if you can’t come when it starts. The videos will be available for 24 hours each time we share.)
