How do you make garlic shrimp?
This recipe couldn’t be any easier! Just prepare a frying pan with the olive oil and butter, add the garlic, add the shrimp, cook until pink (4-5 minutes) and then add parsley to the mix. Season with salt and pepper and voila, you’re all done!
Tips to make this garlic butter shrimp recipe
- The taste of this recipe is entirely dependent on the quality of the shrimp you buy. We bought ours at the local market on the rue Poncelet – alive – and rushed home immediately to make them. They were exquisite.
- The quality of the butter counts too. Our favorite is thick, French, salted butter. Use the best quality butter you can find.
- Use fresh parsley if you can, as it has more flavor than dried parsley.
