Garlic Ginger Paste

Description

Once you’ve made your own homemade ginger garlic paste, you’ll never go back to store-bought. Garlic ginger paste is bursting with gorgeous flavors and is a crucial ingredient in all of your homemade Indian curries. Make to use right away, store in the fridge for a couple of weeks and use as needed, or freeze in an ice cube tray so you have the paste on hand whenever you need it.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3oz (85g) of ginger – by weight
  • 3oz (85g) of garlic – by weight
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 3 tbsp of water

Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger and garlic. 
  2. Mix in a blender with olive oil and water for 5 minutes, until the mixture becomes white and creamy.
