Where to eat in Paris – Breakfast

Café St Regis

Order the French toast and eat it outside on Ile Saint Louis. Pretty much Parisian perfection.

6 rue Jean du Bellay 75004 Paris

Angelina

Angelina is a beautiful place to go for breakfast and they have the best hot chocolate in Paris.

Go for breakfast and make sure you order the hot chocolate!

226 rue de Rivoli 75001 Paris

Le Danton

Stepping inside Le Danton feels like stepping back into the Paris of the 1960s.

Come here for a croissant, eggs and a coffee! The perfect Parisian breakfast is an authentic Parisian setting.

103 Boulevard Saint-Germain 75006 Paris

Where to eat in Paris – Brunch

Café Charlot

In the same family of restaurants as the Café Saint Regis, this is probably our favorite place for brunch in Paris.

I have been eating eggs here for the past 23 years. Please, promise me you will get the oeufs Norvégiens (poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on a bed of smoked salmon)! It is amazing.

Visit Le Café Charlot Facebook Page.

38 rue de Bretagne 75003 Paris

Treize au Jardin

Treize au Jardin is the place to go for a Southern American brunch in Paris. Go there for chicken and waffles, pancakes and more. So tasty!

They serve brunch and lunch all day.

The Bouillon Chartier dates back to 1896. The concept is simple : delicious French food at an affordable price! Get here early as lines can be long.

Where to eat in Paris – Coffee

If you are a coffee fiend like we are, make sure to save our ultimate guide to coffee in Paris.

These are some of our favorite Parisian cafes :

Boot Cafe

The tiniest café in Paris, and perhaps the cutest, they make a delicious flat white and have a highly Instagrammable façade.

19 rue du Pont aux Choux 75003 Paris

a blue front door and a girl drinking coffee outside

Cafe Kitsune

Not a weekend goes by that we don’t stop in the Palais Royal gardens for a coffee at Café Kitsune. We may be slightly obsessed. Get a yuzu drink, a match latte, a dirty chai or a mocha.

Read our review of Cafe Kitsune.

Jardin du Palais Royal, 51 Galerie du Montpellier 75001 Paris

This may be my favorite cafe in Paris!

Come here for a chic coffee break in a gorgeous cafe.

Where to eat in Paris – Afternoon Tea

Although Parisian is best known for its coffee shops and brasseries, it is also a wonderful place to enjoy an afternoon tea.

Le Meurice

High tea at Le Meurice is an exceptional Parisian experience. You will get to enjoy tasty tea sandwiches, crumble scones and pastries by famous French pastry chef, Cédric Grolet. Choose your tea from the tea menu and we recommend also splurging for une coupe de Champagne. Reservations for the tea are a must as it fills up a couple of weeks in advance.

This may just be our favorite restaurant in Paris! This traditional French brasserie was an old Hemingway hang out and to us, it is just the perfect French brasserie.

151 Boulevard Saint-Germain 75006 Paris

Chez Janou

This is one of our favorite spots for a typically Provençal French dinner. If you are a fan of pastis, or would like to try it, this is the place to do it. They have an entire pastis menu.

Visit the Chez Janou website.

2 rue Roger Verlomme 75003 Paris

Where to eat in Paris – Late Night Eats

Sometimes you’re out late and you’re craving a late night snack or maybe you’ve been so wrapped up in enjoying Paris that you forgot to eat dinner and you’re starving at 2am. We are rarely out this late but we have had a handful of romantic, late night Parisian dinners, after a fun night out.

Au Pied de Cochon

The very first restaurant in Paris to stay open all night, this Parisian institution has been open 24/7 since 1947. This gorgeous Parisian restaurant has welcomed many celebrities over the years, including Joséphine Baker, François Mitterand and Serge Gainsbourg.
