Description
Classic French tartiflette is the creamy, cheesy French Winter feast you’ve been looking for.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs of potatoes
- 1 onion (finely sliced)
- 1 tsp of Herbes de Provence
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup of cream
- 1/2 reblochon cheese (cut into strips)
- 1/2 cup of Serrano ham (diced)
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- Olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
- Arugula and our 3 ingredient French Vinaigrette (to serve)
Instructions
- Cook the potatoes in a large pot of water until you can easily put a fork in them.
- Remove from the water.
- Remove the skin of the potatoes and slice them into 1/2 inch slices.
- Heat olive oil in a large frying pan on high heat.
- Add the potatoes and onion and cook for 4 minutes.
- Add the herbs, garlic, a pinch of salt and ground black pepper.
- Continue to cook until lightly browned.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- In a loaf tin (or a cake tin) put a layer of potatoes/onion.
- Add a third of the cream.
- Add a third of cheese.
- Sprinkle a third of the ham.
- Add a layer of potatoes and continue with cream, cheese, ham, potatoes, cream, cheese, ham.
- Pour the white wine.
- Put in oven for 30 minutes until the cheese grills.
- Serve with arugula and our 3 ingredient French vinaigrette.

We highly recommend this dry white wine to use in the recipe and also to serve with the tartiflette.
