How to Make Sourdough Pancakes
- Step 1 – Put the flour and the baking powder in large bowl.
- Step 2 – Pour the milk in, little by little, while mixing with a tablespoon.
- Step 3 – Add the egg and the sourdough and mix.
- Step 4 – Add the melted butter and mix.
- Step 5 – Leave to rest for 30 minutes.
- Step 6 – Heat a teaspoon of butter in a little frying pan over medium heat.
- Step 7 – Pour in a ladle of pancake batter and cook until little wells appear.
- Step 8 – Flip the pancake over and cook for 30 more seconds.
- Step 9 – Serve with maple syrup, raspberries and blueberries.
Tips
- Double check the freshness of your baking powder. Fresh baking powder is the key to fluffy pancakes!
- Avoid the temptation to over mix. Over mixing will lead to pancakes that are not as fluffy, so careful not to over mix.
- Wipe out the pan between batches. This keep your pancakes from burning.
