Description

Easy and delicious sardine rillettes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of sardines (125g)
  • 70g of cream cheese
  • 1 shallot (finely chopped)
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Zest of ½ a lemon
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 8 chives
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch of dried chili peppers (or Espelette pepper)

Instructions

  1. Mix sardines, cream cheese and shallots in a bowl with a fork.
  2. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, chili peppers, black pepper and 6 chives (chopped) and continue to mix.
  3. Decorate with 2 chives (unchopped) and some grated lemon zest.
  4. Put in your fridge for 1 hour before serving.
  5. Serve with bread.
