Description
Salmon meuniere, a new version of a French classic, is made with salmon butter and lemon. Served over rice, this is the perfect, fancy and decadent French dinner recipe.

- 1/4 stick of butter
- Juice of a lemon
- 1 sprig of thyme (optional)
- 1/2 lb of salmon
- 1 tbsp of flour
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 3 lemon slices
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat the 1/4 stick of butter in a sauce pan over low heat until it bubbles.
- Add the lemon juice and the sprig of thyme and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and leave to infuse. (This will be the sauce.)
- Cover the salmon with flour.
- Heat the tbsp of butter over medium heat until it bubbles.
- Add the salmon, skin down, and cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip the salmon over.
- Pour the butter and lemon mixture over the salmon, add the slices of lemon and cook for 3 minutes, while continuously pouring spoonfuls of butter over the fish.
- Add salt and pepper to season.
