All you need is a handful of tasty ingredients to prepare this pasta : porcini mushrooms, linguine, garlic, butter, parsley and rosemary, making this an easy and delicious recipe to make at home. How to make porcini mushroom pasta :

The first step to prepare this recipe is to clean the mushrooms. When the mushrooms are ready, sauté them in olive oil and butter. Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the packet and pour the pasta into the frying pan over the mushrooms. Finish the recipe by sautéing the mushrooms and pasta together.

Tips to make this porcini mushroom pasta :

  • Make sure to thoroughly clean the mushrooms according to the directions in the video above for optimal flavor.
  • Mushrooms don’t care for water, so never soak mushrooms while cleaning them.
  • Use the freshest porcini mushrooms you can find! We got ours at the lovely rue Poncelet market in Paris.
  • Using fresh garlic and parsley for maximum flavor.

Make this porcini mushroom pasta your own by mixing things up a little :

  • Add tomatoes to make mushroom tomato pasta.
  • If you’d like to add meat to this pasta dish, an Italian sausage or chicken sausage would be nice.
  • Make this pasta spicy, by adding some organic Cayenne pepper.

Description

This porcini mushroom pasta is bursting with the flavor of fresh porcini mushrooms, garlic, rosemary, parsley and butter. Simple and delicious, this is about to become one of your favorite Italian pasta recipes!


Ingredients

Scale

1 garlic clove (chopped)
1 tsp of rosemary
½ lbs of porcini mushrooms
1 tbsp of parsley (chopped)
½ lbs of linguine
Salt and black pepper grounded
1 tbsp of butter


Instructions

To clean the porcini mushrooms, remove the dust with a slightly humid paper towel.
Careful, the mushrooms don’t like water, never soak the mushrooms to clean them.
Cook the linguine for one minute less than indicated on the package. (The linguine will cook for an extra minute in the frying pan later.)
Heat the butter on medium heat in a frying pan.
Add the garlic and the rosemary and cook for a minute.
Toss in the porcini mushrooms and a pinch of salt and cook for 8 minutes.
Pour in the linguine and cook for another minute.
Add the parsley and black pepper.
Serve.
