Description

Philadelphia Chicken is a simple chicken recipe made with cream cheese, garlic, oregano, breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, oregano, egg and olive oil. You will love this creamy and flavorful chicken dish!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp of Philadelphia
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 6 tbsp of breadcrumbs 
  • 3 tbsp of sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp of oregano
  • 1 egg
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice open the chicken breasts, keeping both sides attached for stuffing.
  3. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  4. Mix the Philadelphia cream cheese with the crushed garlic and a teaspoon of oregano.
  5. Put a tablespoon of the Philadelphia mixture inside the chicken breasts and fold closed.
  6. Mix the breadcrumbs, sesame seeds and oregano.
  7. Pour half of this mixture onto a plate.
  8. Beat the egg inside a large bowl.
  9. Dip the chicken breasts in the egg, then coat them with the breadcrumbs, sesame seeds and oregano mixture.
  10. Dip the chicken breasts in the egg again, then put them in the breadcrumbs mixture again.
  11. Pour a tablespoon of olive oil into an oven dish, then add the chicken breasts.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes.
  13. Flip the chicken breasts and cook for another 20 minutes.
