What to Pack for Paris in November
Since it is cooler, days are shorter, and it may be on the rainy side, the best thing you can do is plan to dress in layers. Make sure you pack sweaters, a scarf, warm socks, waterproof shoes and possibly a hat. It can also be quite windy so it’s a good idea to pack a hydrating hand lotion and a rich lip balm.

Only a few restaurants serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and it can be hard to find a turkey if you are planning to cook, but don’t let that dissuade you. Visit a museum in Paris in November
November can be quite a rainy month. As temperatures begin to dip, I love spending more time exploring all of the beautiful museums in Paris.
I always recommend booking your museum tickets in advance as things fill up quickly in Paris all times of year, even during a slightly quieter month like November.

Visit a Parisian garden and enjoy the Fall foliage in Paris in November
November is a beautiful time to walk through the Parisian gardens. Put on a cozy knit sweater and go out for a stroll. All of the gardens are beautiful in the Fall but I the Luxembourg Gardens and the Palais Royal Gardens are my absolute favorites to visit this time of year.
See a movie at Luxor Cinema
Luxor Cinema is a unique cinema decorated in an Egyptian style. Watch the latest movies, in English (with French subtitles), surrounded by gold, hieroglyphics and stained glass. Following the film, head upstairs for a drink in their sweet little Parisian bar with a view over the Sacre Coeur.

Go for hot chocolate at the Café de Flore
Is there anything cosier than snuggling up with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book? (Croissants optional but recommended.) Many people think that Café de Flore has the best hot chocolate in Paris. It’s definitely one of my favorites and I’ve tried a lot in the 20+ years I’ve been living in Paris!

Learn about photography
Each year, the Paris Photo Exhibition or the Foire Internationale de la Photographie, is held at the Grand Palais. It is the World’s largest art fair dedicated to photography.

Christmas in Paris is an absolutely magical time. One of my favorite Christmas traditions in Europe are the festive Christmas markets.
The Christmas markets open in Paris the last week of November. I love enjoying them that week because they are significantly less crowded than later in the Christmas season, in December.
The main Christmas market in Paris is located inside the Tuileries gardens in the 1st arrondissement close to the Louvre Museum.
