The Best Paris Books for Kids

Eloise in Paris
By Kay Thompson

Hands down my favorite book! Ok, my favorite kids book, no my favorite book! As a child, I absolutely adored Eloise and I loved following her from The Plaza to her adventures in Paris. I think about this character on the daily as I go about my life here in Paris. This is my absolute FAVORITE Paris book for kids!

Claris : The Chicest Mouse in Paris
By Megan Hess

Claris is an adorable little mouse who dreams of moving to Paris. One day, she decides to do it and bravely takes the leap! She meets a scary looking cat along the way. Will she be able to overcome her fears to make her Parisian dreams come true?

There is also an adorable puzzle to go with the book! Ahh, be still my heart, so cute.

Anatole
By Eve Titus

Follow the adventures of this honorable little mouse on his quest for cheese for his family as he goes through Paris. He tastes a variety of cheeses at the Duvall Cheese Factory and gives them each a grade “good”, “not so good” and “needs orange peel” and signs his name. The factory workers don’t know where the mysterious grades come from but realize this little taste tester has exceptional taste! This classic French children’s story dating all the way back to the 1950s, is adorable. One of the best Paris books for kids to discover daily life in Paris.
