Nina’s Paris
As soon as you walk in, you will notice the beautiful white and gold decor, the crystal chandelier and the white and pink chairs. I love the calm and peaceful ambiance, the inherently chic quality of the space and I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

The history of this beautiful Parisian salon de thé goes all the way back to 1672 when Pierre Diaz created La Distillerie Frères. They were the very first company that distilled natural essential oils. Diaz became well known and started producing products for the Royal Court of Versailles. Marie Antoinette particularly loved Diaz’s rose and lavender fragrances.
This expertise was passed down through future generations and transformed into the Nina’s Paris of today. The brand name “Nina’s Paris” comes from Pierre’s beloved wife, Nina.
Today, you can visit Nina’s of Paris, enjoy the elegant decor and taste the tea salon’s famous Marie Antoinette tea and apple cake, made from ingredients picked directly from the royal gardens of Versailles.

Nina’s Tea Paris
We recommend the afternoon tea menu. We had the Marie Antoinette tea and apple cake menu which is their afternoon tea offering. It’s simple and affordable, at just 15€ and is the perfect pause gourmande.
Marie Antoinette Tea
The Marie Antoinette tea is included in Nina’s afternoon tea menu. This tea is dedicated to Marie Antoinette and is the only tea in the world made from apples and rose petals from the King’s garden at Versailles (Le Potager du Roi Versailles). The base of the tea is black loose leaf tea from Sri Lanka. The apples naturally give the tea a slightly sweet flavor. Combined with the fragrant rose, it is just perfect.
If you fall in love with the Marie Antoinette tea like we did, you can even purchase a tin to bring home or several tins to give as gifts. (We love giving this tea as gifts because it is so quintessentially Parisian and difficult to find outside of Paris and Nina’s 2 other locations.)
You can also order it online here.
Nina’s of Paris
You’ll notice the beautiful white facade of the salon de thé when you arrive on the rue Danielle Casanova very close to the Place Vendôme, as well as the beautiful reproduction of a tin of Marie Antionette tea outside welcoming you in.
