Creamy and delicious cheese naan
Ingredients
Scale
- 200 g of whole wheat flour
- 1 pot of natural yogurt
- Paneer cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 5 cl of hot water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Put the flour in a bowl. Add olive oil and mix on medium speed.
- Add yeast, sugar, salt and yogurt and mix again on medium speed.
- Add water and mix again (still on medium speed).
- Once a large ball of dough forms, detach bowl from the Kitchenaid, cover bowl with a tea cloth and leave your dough to rest (and rise) for 3-4 hours.
- When dough has risen, divide into 4 balls.
- Use a rolling pin to flatten your dough.
- Heat frying pan with a small amount of olive oil to keep dough from sticking to the frying pan.
- Place rolled and flattened dough on frying pan and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
Notes
Use your stand mixer’s hook attachment for this recipe.
You can add crushed garlic and/or herbes de provence to your dough in the second step of our recipe for extra flavor!
