What is Lanskroon Bakery?
A family-run bakery, confectionary, and tearoom in the heart of Amsterdam along the famous Singel canal. Come here for delicious sweet treats!

History of Lanskroon Bakery
The Dunselman family who own Lanskroon Bakery have been in the confectionary business for 100 years.
Today, the fourth generation runs the bakery!
Best time to go
Go in the morning for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. The bakery and tearoom are open all day.
The cute little tearoom is the perfect spot to sit and have coffee and some pastries and chocolates.
Why not head here after visiting the Van Gogh Museum (a 23 minute walk away) for cake and coffee?

What to get at Lanskroon Bakery
There are many delicious options to choose from here, so deciding what to get can be tricky!
These are some of our favorite things that we have tried at Lanksroon Bakery.
Slagroom Truffels
These are little bites of Heaven!
Dark chocolate truffles filled with a generous serving of whipped cream. What more could you ask for really?
They are sold individually – start with one, but don’t be surprised if you go back for more!

Appelflappen
An appelflappen is a Dutch apple turnover made with puff pastry, apples and cinnamon.
They are delicious any time of day!
Rum-raisin oliebollen
If you visit during the Christmas season, make sure you try an oliebollen! Oliebollen are fried balls of dough, traditional filled with raisins, although a variety of flavors exist. At Lanskroon Bakery, they make theirs with rum and raisins throughout!
When we visited during Christmas, we were lucky to be able to try their delicious oliebollen.
We even walked past the bakery on December 30th and saw them making the oliebollen through their large windows. They were closed in the morning and opened in the afternoon to sell this treat exclusively to eager customers waiting outside!

Gevulde Koek
These cookies are filled with almond paste and topped with whole pieces of almonds.
They are a traditional Dutch cookie and at Lanskroon they make a great one!
Stroopwafels
Although we haven’t tried their stroopwafels yet, their reputation precedes them! They are rumored to be absolutely delicious and available in three flavors : honey, honey and espresso, and fig and raisins.
We will definitely be trying these the next time we are in Amsterdam!
Dont hesitate to try their selection of sliced cakes as well and if you visiting during the Summer months, their homemade ice cream!
Take home
At Lanskroon Bakery, they make sweet packages of cookies to go!
These make excellent gifts and food souvenirs, so make sure you pick-up a few packs on your trip.
