East German Cakes at Kaffeehaus Paris

Don’t miss the East German style cakes at Kaffeehaus the next time you are in Paris! Kaffeehaus Paris is one of our favorite cafes in Paris in the beautiful 17th arrondissement. It is one of our favorite local spots and the best place to find a slice of traditional Sachertorte in Paris. Visit Cafe Kitsune next for traditional Turkish coffee and sweets in Paris!

What you can expect at Kaffeehaus Paris

Although the Sachertorte is traditionally Austrian, you will find it on the menu at Kaffeehaus.

They also offer a chocolate tarte called l’écureuil (or squirrel in French). It is dense with chocolate, creamy and perfect. it has a layer of chocolate mousse and is topped with hazelnut. We often visit this café on a Sunday just because we are are craving this particular dessert.

Look at all those beautiful desserts! It’s hard to choose which one to try, so you may need to plan several trips to Kaffeehaus during your time in Paris. We wouldn’t want you to have to choose between raspberry tarts, blueberry tarts, strawberry tarts and more!

The experience at Kaffeehaus would not be complete without a delicious coffee to accompany your sweet treats. There are a few seats outside which means you can enjoy your coffee and sweets and people watch at the same time.
