Description

Creamy, fragrant, delicious Jamaican Rasta Pasta is about to become your absolute favorite pasta dish!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp of jerk seasoning
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 tsp of Worcester sauce
  • 1 tsp of thyme 
  • 1/4 cup of Philadelphia 
  • 2 tbsp of parmesan
  • 1/3 lbs of pasta
  • Basil

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into 4 pieces each (8 pieces total).
  2. Mix with jerk seasoning and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove from the pan.
  6. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and cook the onion with a pinch of salt for 4 minutes.
  7. Add the garlic and cook for a minute. Reduce the heat.
  8. Add the bell peppers and cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Add the Worcester sauce and the thyme and cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Mix the cream cheese and parmesan in a bowl.
  11. Meanwhile, cook the pasta.
  12. Mix a ladle of pasta water into the cream cheese and parmesan and mix.
  13. Put the chicken in the pan. Turn heat to high heat.
  14. Pour the cream cheese mixture and the pasta into the frying pan and cook for a minute.
  15. Top with basil and serve.
