  • Onion
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Cumin
  • Garam masala
  • Coriander seeds (powdered)
  • Chili powder
  • Zucchini
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

How to Make Indian Zucchini

Learning how to make zucchini Indian style is simple.

  • Step 1 – Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  • Step 2 – Add the cumin and cook for a minute.
  • Step 3 – Add the onion and a pinch of salt and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Step 4 – Add the garlic ginger paste, garam masala, coriander seeds and chili powder and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Step 5 – Add the zucchini, salt and black pepper and cook for another 7 minutes.

  • Use high quality, fresh spices for the best flavor.
  • Choose zucchini that is ripe and ready to use for this recipe. You will know the zucchini is ripe if it is fairly firm and not too soft.
