Updated November 13th, 2019 : Casse Noisette is closed at the moment but will be opening again this month as Cédric Grolet’s new bakery-patisserie.

One of our favorite recent discoveries is Casse Noisette on the Avenue de l’Opéra in Paris. We were absolutely WOWed by the pastry selection at Casse Noisette Paris from pastry chef extraordinaire Jeffrey Cagnes.

Passing the window is a true #foodporn situation and you will definitely be tempted to go in. Once inside, I can’t promise that you won’t want to buy approximately 7 pastries. This was the experience we had anyway. #truestory

6 Must-Try Pastries at Casse Noisette Paris

We managed to control our temptation and just bought 2 pastries the first time we visited.

Jeffrey Cagnes is the sugar genius behind Casse Noisette Paris pastry. You can follow his sweet adventures on his Facebook page.

The most original pastry at Casse Noisette Paris is the cannelé surprise and it actually comes in 2 versions.

The second time I went to Casse Noisette Paris was to buy a two surprise for Hugo (ok 2)! He composes music and plays guitar every Sunday afternoon. I often use this time to write, have new food experiences or listen to podcasts. Speaking of podcasts, which ones are your favorites? I would love your recommendations! Some of my favorites : Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert, Quantum Living by Jess Lively, ChoppedCon with Marly and Nomad Together with .

The third time I went to Casse Noisette Paris, I brought my mom. She was visiting us for her birthday. After spending 2 magical days in Amsterdam, visiting Keukenhof tulip gardens and munching on delicious Dutch food, we came back to Paris and had one perfect week together to enjoy the lovely Parisian sunshine, chat and catch up and just have a really great time together.

Again, once inside Casse Noisette Paris, we were tempted to buy everyyyyttthhhhiiinnnggg. We managed to choose just 2 sweets.
