The Boot Cafe may be the most Instagrammable of all the cafes in Paris. Located in the Marais, the blue facade just makes you want to reach for your phone or camera to snap a quick pic. Boot Cafe is part of the new wave of really good coffee in Paris, so you will be very happy with whatever drink you choose, just look at these reviews on Facebook. Wondering where the Boot Cafe gets its name from? The coffee is in a former cobbler. The decor has a vintage feeling to it and is very inviting! I love the white tiles inside. This cafe is clearly small but there are a few seats if you want to stay awhile. There is also a fun collection of vintage magazines in the cafe which are fun to flip through. Can’t you just imagine yourself sipping on a coffee here?
I love the blue door and facade and French antique doorknobs. There is something so charming about this place. If you are more a take your coffee and walk kind of person, they do offer coffee “take-away” (as they said here in Paris with a sweet French accent, bien sur).
We ordered an espresso and a cappuccino and went outside to drink them in the sunshine. We skipped the sweet treats this time around (surprising, but even WE have our limits!) but will definitely go back soon so we can report back on their baked goods.
My cappuccino was delicious and Hugo loved his espresso! This is such a cozy spot to sit and read a book, chat with a friend or cuddle with the one you love. Being able to flip through an old copy of Vogue is an added bonus.
