The menu features a variety of drinks, some main courses and a selection of desserts.

The famous Sacher Torte was created at the Hotel Sacher and you can order it from the Blaue Bar, in addition to the other on-site cafes and restaurants. It’s served with whipped cream and goes perfectly with Hotel Sacher’s signature Sacher Cuvée sparkling wine.

Tips to visit Blaue Bar Vienna

The biggest and most important tip I can give you is to reserve your table at Blaue Bar in advance!

As soon as you know when you want to visit, make sure you make your reservation.

Blaue Bar is very tiny and there are only a few tables inside. While we were sitting and have our drinks and Sacher Torte, we noticed several people popping up and asking to be seated and being turned away.

The best test of whether a place was worth visiting is would you go back again. We would absolutely visit Blaue Bar again and again.
