We had the chance to discover the newly opened Beaupassage in Paris this afternoon. This new shopping space in Paris is dedicated to gastronomy and wellness and features the creations of Pierre Hermé, Thierry Marx, Alexandre Pomard, Anne-Sophie Pic, Olivier Bellin, as well as a Japanese coffee bar by Junichi Yamaguchi and a speciality cheese shop, the Fromagerie Barthélémy.
Take a peek inside the Beaupassage Paris for yourself in this short video!
Beaupassage Paris
I was struck by the beauty of the white, modern design throughout the shopping arcade and splashes of colorful street art throughout. The passage just opened 2 days ago on August 25th, 2018. You can currently visit the Pierre Hermé Café and the Alexandre Pomard butcher shop and restaurant. The other shops are not yet open to the public, but will be opening in the next few days. We will keep you updated and go back to sample each spot over time.
This gorgeous space invites you to step in for a stroll, a sweet treat and coffee. The entire space is very Instagrammable and a definite Parisian treat.
Pierre Hermé Café, Beaupassage, Paris
Today we sampled the new Pierre Hermé café in Beaupassage. This is an exciting step for Hermé, as this is his first café. If you have been reading our blog for a while, then you know about our passion for Pierre Hermé’s macarons. You will not be disappointed by his café.
Interiors at the Pierre Hermé Café
The Pierre Hermé café is beautifully decorated, modern with a classic Parisian elegance.
The menu at the Pierre Hermé Café in Paris
The menu is quite extensive and offers both sweet treats and lovely drinks for a teatime or coffee break, as well as alcoholic beverages for an afterwork drink. The space is sleekly designed to be the perfect spot to welcome you throughout the day, starting with an early morning coffee, continuing through to a late afternoon snack and going all the way to an evening cocktail.
The Pierre Hermé Café offers a teatime menu with several sweets and a hot drink for 1 or 2.
You can enjoy the signature Pierre Hermé sweets such as the Ispahan (rose, raspberry and lychee) which has classically been available as a standard size macaron and a larger macaron dessert and has also been transformed into an Ispahan latte and cocktail.

You can enjoy a selection of teas, coffees, a “café gourmand” (an espresso and 2 macarons of your choice), a “thé gourmand” (a tea with 2 macarons), a glass of champagne and more. There are many choices and we can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu!
Today we enjoyed a café gourmand : an espresso and a Jardin Andalou macaron (mandarin, olive oil and red fruits) and a Jardin Enchanté (lime, raspberry and Espelette pepper), a flat white and an Ultimate pastry (dark chocolate Xibun and vanilla ganache).
Although most of the stores weren’t yet open today, it is clear that preparations are under way to open soon. We saw Thierry Marx working with his team on their upcoming menu on our way out of the Beaupassage.
