Afternoon Tea at Le Meurice Paris (Le Meurice Tea Time)

If you are looking for a really special afternoon tea experience in Paris, make a reservation at Le Meurice. We enjoyed the beautiful decor, the lovely tea, the tea sandwiches, the blueberry crumble scones, the gorgeous pastries and the Champagne! If you are passionate about eating good food in Paris like we are, make sure to download our free Paris Food Guide. If you are looking for another fabulous afternoon tea experience in Paris, head to Nina’s Paris next!

Isn’t this location gorgeous? This is the Dali tearoom at the Meurice hotel.

The Le Meurice Paris Experience

Cédric Grolet is known for his magnificent pastries, including trompe-l’oeil fruit desserts, such as these white chocolate strawberries on a shortbread crust and filled with strawberry yogurt cream.

You can choose the afternoon tea menu with or without Champagne. Obviously, we recommend the Champagne menu! When having this kind of special Parisian experience, I think it’s fun to add that extra decadent touch to the experience.

I had never seen blueberry crumble scones but don’t they look wonderful? They were very tasty and have inspired us to want to recreate them in our home kitchen as well.

Look at those mini chocolate eclairs! They were made using a very dark chocolate which is my favorite so I was a big fan!

The service and experience at Le Meurice were both impeccable and I would love to go back again. My family will be visiting from Italy in a few weeks and I can’t wait to bring them for tea too.

This place looks so beautiful and special! Your photos are amazing! The food really does look delicious. Afternoon tea is not a big thing in the U.S. so I always enjoy reading about European experiences. Thanks for linking up with #farawayfiles – and pinned.
